What is this exactly?

A team game for at least 2 and up to 8 players (depending on the game). You wear VR headsets and controllers and move together on an approximately 3×5 m playing field. Your mission: solve puzzles and master the adventure as a team.

Can I get dizzy?

Accepted Answer

We designed the gameplay to minimize spatial disorientation as much as possible. The risk of motion sickness is low. However, those who are particularly prone to motion sickness or fear of heights (mainly concerning the game "Escape the Lost Pyramid") should be aware that some discomfort cannot be ruled out.

Is there an age recommendation?

We recommend a minimum age of 12 years, but we regularly host kids as young as 8 in our game "Jungle Quest". Most of our games contain no violence, and the rest contain only very mild violence. We will happily advise you before the game if there are any concerns.

For the game "Escape the Lost Pyramid", arm length is a deciding factor, given that very short kids can struggle with the distance between holds while climbing in the virtual world.

What if we can't solve the puzzles?

No stress — a game master accompanies you and gives hints when you're stuck. All puzzles are solvable and have been tested for feasibility, although the game remains challenging.

Can anything happen to me?

Accepted Answer

A game master accompanies you the entire time and is immediately available if needed. Everybody receives a brief introduction to VR technology and the virtual environment at the start.

How do I move around?

Accepted Answer

You move freely on about 15 square metres — walking, crouching, and turning. The wireless headset allows unrestricted movement, and you hold two controllers in your hands. For games in the Teleporting-category one tries to remain as stationary as possible and uses the controllers to move around.

Anything else to keep in mind?

Upswept hairstyles and high heels are not recommended for adventurers.

What do I need to know as a glasses wearer?

Accepted Answer

Standard glasses fit under VR headsets. Contact lenses are a great alternative. With mild vision correction, playing without glasses is often possible too.

Can I drop by without a booking?

Accepted Answer

Advance booking via our website is required. Walk-in reservations on-site are unfortunately not possible.

How much time should I plan?

The virtual adventure itself lasts 40–60 minutes depending on team performance. Including arrival, introduction, and debrief, we recommend planning around 90 minutes.

How can I pay?

Online: credit card or PayPal. On-site: cash, credit card, Postfinance, V-Pay, or Maestro.

Can I eat and drink there?

We offer soft drinks. For a more substantial meal, we recommend the restaurants in the surrounding area.

Can the games be played one-handed and/or in a wheelchair?

Accepted Answer

This varies depending on the game. Generally, all games except for "Escape the Lost Pyramid", "Beyond Medusa's Gate", "Dagger of Time" und "Notre Dame on Fire" can be played one-handed. For people in a wheelchair we primarily recommend "Alice in Wonderland", though some other games from the Teleporting-category may also be possible.

I use a hearing aid or have a hearing impairment. Is this a problem?

Generally speaking no. Some headsets are equipped with headphones that are better suited to accommodate in this regard. We recommend you give us a heads-up in den Notes-section of your booking, so we can prepare the respective headsets and assign them correctly.

Do I have to stand the entire time for the games?

For games in the Teleporting-category it is generally possible for a Game Master to provide a stool if desired. Most puzzles can then be solved while sitting.
